Main features

+ High resolution shrinkage/expansion measurements

Our high resolution linear probes resolve changes in length with a resolution of 0.1 µm. This corresponds to 0.001 ‰ or 1 ppm in our shrinkage grooves with a measuring length of 100mm.

+ Compact Dimensions

The ASEM system's shrinkage grooves are very compact, so that up to 4 shrinkage grooves can be placed on one level of a climate chamber.
Total Length: 170 mm; Width: 60 mm; Height: 80 mm; Measurement Length: 100 mm.

+ Expandable to up to 24 Channels

The ASEM system can be extended to up to 24 shrinkage measurement channels, which can all run in parallel.

+ Simultaneous or Independent of Ultrasonic Measurements

Shrinkage / Expansion measurements can be performed simultaneous or independent of Ultrasonic Measurements. This allows you to perform shrinkage measurements over long periods of time without blocking the measuring channels of your IP-8 System.

+ Also suitable for existing shrinkage grooves

The ASEM system is compatible with many existing shrinkage grooves. This means you can continue to use your existing equipment and still analyze your data in our intuitive UltraTestLab software.
