Mortar & Plaster Systems
The development and optimization of cement-based mortar and plaster systems is one of the main areas of application of our ultrasonic measuring technology. Influences of additives such as flow agents, accelerators or retarders on the setting behavior become visible immediately and over the entire duration of the setting process.
The setting behavior of screeds, self-leveling compounds, and floor systems for industrial applications can be precisely analyzed with our ultrasonic measuring technology. The entire setting process is recorded from mixing to readiness for covering.

Tile Adhesive
The development of tile adhesives is much faster with our ultrasonic measuring technology than with conventional methods for investigating setting processes. The end of the processing time and the time at which the floor can be walked on can be precisely determined.
Fresh concrete and hardened components can be analyzed with our ultrasonic measuring technology. We offer measuring systems for a maximum grain size of up to 32 mm for investigating the setting behavior and optimizing the demolding times of fresh concrete. Hardened components can be sounded and tested up to a thickness of 10 m.
Concrete & Precast Elements
CO₂ recuced binders
In the development of cements with a reduced clinker content or clinker-free binders, guaranteeing constant product quality is a major challenge. Our ultrasonic measuring technology enables you to monitor the setting process quickly, easily, and continuously. This significantly accelerates development, quality assurance, and production monitoring.
The setting processes of refractory materials of all kinds can be recorded with our IP-8 ultrasonic measuring system from mixing to reaching the final strength. Processing times can be precisely determined. In addition, hardened functional components can be sounded to determine the dynamic modulus of elasticity or the compressive strength.
Refractory Products & Casting Compounds
Gypsum-based Plaster, Stucco & Screed Systems
In addition to cement-based building materials, the setting behavior of gypsum-based plaster, stucco, and screed systems can also be studied with the IP-8 ultrasonic measuring system. Measurements can be started immediately after mixing and measurement intervals of 1 s or less are possible. This means that even very fast setting processes can be fully recorded.
An exact concrete formulation in terms of workability and setting behavior is essential for 3D printing applications. Ultrasonic measurements provide continuous information about the development of these parameters, which cannot be detected with other test methods. With our special ultrasonic sensor holder for 3D printing, individual layers of a component can also be continuously monitored during the entire printing process.

Construction Chemistry
The measurement of setting behavior is also possible with organic building materials, such as PU adhesives. Our IP-8 ultrasonic measuring system can record the entire strength development. Pot life and processing times can be precisely determined.
